Motor rotor for hybrid vehicle

This is the rotor of the driving electric motor, the heart of the Civic Hybrid manufactured by Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
The inner section, which is directly connected with the crankshaft of the engine, is made of the high strength ENK material, while the outer section, which works as the magnet yoke, is made of the EO material that has excellent magnetic properties. These two sections are joined into one piece by our company's unique technology of sinter diffusion bonding. The assisting and regenerative torque is increased by around 30% in comparison to the preceding model, the Insight, making a large contribution to realizing the lowest fuel consumption of 29.5 km/L (10 to 15 mode).
